Let’s make hypertufa with Beth! Over two different classes, we will get our hands dirty and crafty as we share some basic mixing and molding techniques to make your own lightweight, porous and weatherproof hypertufa planter. Hypertufa is a mixture of Portland cement, perlite, and peat moss that mimics tufa, a naturally porous rock not sourced locally. On our second gathering we will give the planters the finishing touches and plant them up with some gorgeous violas and pansies. Your handmade creation will be ready to grace your garden or gift away!
